Potential and relevance of green hydrogen from biogas – Whitepaper

New business models for biogas plants in the post-EEG era
The whitepaper, authored by the inventors of the BTH400, demonstrates that producing hydrogen from biogas can contribute significantly to the establishment of decentralized, local hydrogen hubs in the short to medium term. The authors view this as a complement to the buildup of the hydrogen gas network (“core network”) and the production via electrolysis and support the view held by numerous authors that a domestic hydrogen production is necessary from both an industrial and political perspective, in addition to the import strategy.
