e-flox GmbH is a subsidiary of WS Wärmeprozesstechnik GmbH, the inventor and patent holder of FLOX® technology.

With impressive energy efficiency and outstanding reliability, FLOX® burners have established themselves worldwide in a wide variety of process heating applications and set new standards.

In order to develop this potential even more specifically, e-flox GmbH was founded on 1 January 2006 – another milestone in the success story of innovative heat process technology.

The management

Dr. Roland Berger

Dr. Berger worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Process Engineering and Boiler Technology (IVD) at the University of Stuttgart, where he headed the ‘Decentralised Energy Conversion’ department and coordinated European research projects for the development of FLOX® burners for low-calorific gases and solid fuels. Convinced of the benefits of FLOX® technology, he joined forces with WS Wärmeprozesstechnik GmbH to found e-flox GmbH, where he remains managing director to this day.

Dr. Joachim G. Wünning

Dr. Wünning earned his doctorate at RWTH Aachen University on the fundamentals of FLOX® combustion and is the technical director of e-flox GmbH. He is committed to the continuous integration of FLOX® expertise into the products of e-flox GmbH. Together with his father, the inventor of FLOX® technology, he received the German Environmental Award in 2011.
